Rock Art Tours: White Shaman Preserve

Venture deep into the rugged Lower Pecos Canyonlands to stare in awe at the White Shaman mural, a historic piece of art painted thousands of years ago. It depicts the life and belief systems of the now-gone hunter-gatherer society.

But this tour is not just about getting to the mural. You’ll go on a 1.5-hour trek that takes you through a landscape chockful of plants and stunning views of the Pecos River where it meets the Rio Grande.
