Cirque Italia brings horror-themed show to La Palmera mall in Corpus Christi

A “possessed” woman flying in the air, vampires rising out of their coffins and mysterious figures levitating are just a few things you could see live at Paranormal Cirque this weekend.

The Italian-themed circus will perform two shows Saturday and Sunday at its red-and-black-top tent at La Palmera mall’s parking lot. The event, which fuses theatrics and cabaret, will feature a horror-themed show comprised of acrobats, illusionists and dancers.

Some of the show’s acts will include the “jaw-dropping” Wheel of Death, a magic show, a Cyr wheel dance, and acrobats flying with wall-to-wall silks.

Circus-goers are encouraged to leave the kiddos at home. The show is expected to have adult language and material not suitable for visitors under 17. Visitors under the age of 17 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21.
