Chicago Hauntings to begin leading Naperville ghost tours – Chicago Tribune

Chicago Hauntings Tours is taking over the Historic Ghost Tours of Naperville.

Tours of haunted Naperville sites will be led by the organization headed by Ursula Bielski. Bielski is a “historian, author and parapsychology enthusiast” who has written several books on haunted sites in the Chicago area, according to the Chicago Hauntings Tours website.

Chicago Hauntings bills the tour as a “paranormal excursion though the ethereal side of historic and haunted Naperville, Illinois, led by veteran paranormal investigators and including demonstrations of ghost hunting equipment at some of the city’s most actively haunted sites.”

The first two tours with Chicago Hauntings Tours will depart at 8 p.m. May 4 and 5 from Quigley’s Irish Pub in downtown Naperville.

Proceeds from tickets purchased in the next week will help to bring haunted history tours to low-income kids and seniors in Chicago.

Chicago Hauntings also offers various tours and ghost walks in Chicago neighborhoods and in Lake County, Ind.

Historic Ghost Tours of Naperville was previously headed by president and founder Diane Ladley, a Naperville resident. The tours began in 2004.
