Inhuman Cultural Facades
Every culture that has existed in the world has had its own face of evil. Most people are at least somewhat familiar with legends of vampires, werewolves and other assorted horrors that frightened us as children. However, one may be less then acquainted with concepts such as skinwalkers or oni. These are evils associated with the Navajo and Japanese cultures respectively.
Countless others also exist, and have existed throughout history, each as terrifying to the culture where it originates. While credible witnesses to such things are well documented, there remains little, if any, reliable evidence to support the actual existence of such creatures. Nor do the physical being of such things fall into the realms of the accepted mainstream religions that the individual legends culturally originate. They also violate all laws of biology, as they are currently known.
Three possibilities exist;
 Every person who has experienced an encounter with a supernatural "creature" (not a ghost, or ghost-like haunting) is lying.
These creature do in fact, physically exist and remain well in hiding.
Or as I am about to put forth, the witnesses did see these things, but they were not what they seemed to be.
Imagine for a moment that you are an inhuman demon, a creature that never has and never will have a body of its own. This is a creature that is completely evil. Its sole purpose is to break down the will of human beings and thus be able to inhabit their body. What better way to accomplish this goal then by absolute fear, terror, doubt, and confusion?
There are various accounts of these demons appearing as various things, such as people, animals, and in some instances, as an angel of light. It is reasonable to assume that if these demons do in fact posses the ability to alter their appearance, then assuming a form that will generate the aforementioned effects will be most beneficial to its mission.
I believe that as cultures have changed and evolved, the face of evil has changed to match it. If this is true then the possibility exists that even some things that we do not normally link to the supernatural and the demonic may in fact, only be evil's latest attempts.
Consider "greys" and other alien phenomena. There are countless accounts of UFO abductions, encounters and the like. Credible people have suffered great persecution because they would not deny these things that they allegedly witnessed. I cannot call them liars, knowing some of these people myself. However, physical evidence is lacking. I believe that they did in fact see what they claimed, but it was not a true alien but a demon in disguise.
They have been disguising themselves since the dawn of man on this sphere and there is no reason to conclude that they are giving up the fight yet, and neither should we, no matter what form they take.
